Cellulite

Cellulite

The "dimpled skin" effect of cellulite occurs when fat cells under the surface of the skin become toxic and swell. Women make more of the hormones that cause fat cells and have less firm connective tissue than men. These two features of femininity are the primary reason why women accumulate more fat in the hips and thigh region than men do.

In the long run, there will be an increase of the quantity of connective tissue because of the increase of collagen fibers that are encrusted. At the same time, the elastic fibers break, causing the skin to lose its springiness.

Skin becomes even less firm and the superficial muscle's pump cannot function anymore. Toxic liquids continue to accumulate, and the disposals are not evacuated anymore. This leads to a dysfunction of the lymphatic system. Through osmosis, even more liquid is absorbed.

It's a vicious cycle because it means that cellulite can maintain itself and get worse! But that's not all.

Many women have difficulties with excretion and some organs don't function properly. The liver, for example, and as bizarre as it may appear, also influences the origin and the evolution of the cellulite. Additionally, there is decreased circulation; leading to a lack of blood flow and oxygen to that area of the skin. The immune system's ability is decreased and more inflammation occurs. Insulin resistance is greatly exacerbated.

There is a new therapy to the rescue though!!

It involves painless injections at the "peaks and valleys" of a substance to dissolve the fat from the peak that is commonly used in Lipodissolution and an enzyme called collegenase to release the strands of collagen that make up the valleys.

We will make every effort to make this fabulous procedure painless by using the latest topical numbing agents and, as needed, anti-inflammatories and pain medication for 2-3 days after the procedure. You will also be given our Cell-U-Delete cream with Phosphatidylcholine to use between appointments. This is the newest therapy that we helped develop and is now being used by physicians all across the United States and in other countries as well!

If hormone balancing is needed, the Texas Institute of Functional Medicines and our sister compounding pharmacy (ApothéCure) are experts in the area of testing and balancing hormones with the latest natural hormone compounds. Oral homeopathic lymphatic support products are also given along with this therapy that will increase the rate of excess toxic fluid excretion.
